I found this fabric for making the scroll border. It was the first one I found...but I think I like it..and I think it's neutral enough to work with whatever she happens to have in the house. There was a lighter one that was nice too, but the subtle diamond design is pleasing...(see in full view). NOw....to figure out how to get it sewn.

I might check hobby lobby to see if anything else jumps out at me.
